Privacy Policy
Effective July 30, 2026. This policy covers the iTablez iOS app and its App Clip, operated by Lyne Pass Inc. (Toronto, Ontario, Canada). We built iTablez to make a night at your local better — not to collect your life. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run game night, we never sell it, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
What we collect
From the App Clip (scan at the table): the venue and table code you scanned, your five picks, an optional public handle you type for the leaderboard, and — only if you opt in — a temporary notification permission for that night's game moments. The clip requires no account, no name, and no payment details.
From the full app: the same, plus — if you choose Sign in with Apple — the name and email Apple shares (you may hide your email; Apple's private relay is fully supported), and a device push token if you enable notifications.
What we don't collect
No payment card data in this version. No contacts, photos, or precise background location. No advertising identifiers. No tracking across other companies' apps or websites, and no sale or sharing of personal information for advertising — ever.
How we use it
To run the venue's game-night contest (showing your handle and score on that venue's leaderboard, settling winners), to remember your card and any venue-funded credit when you install the app, and to send the notifications you asked for. That's the list.
Where it lives & how long
Data is stored with our cloud provider on servers in North America and retained while your account is active or as needed to operate the contest and meet legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified. App Clip data you never carry into the full app expires with the night.
Your choices & rights
Every permission is optional and each has a working alternative (for example, scanning the table code instead of granting location). You may use a pseudonymous handle or none at all. To access, correct, or delete your information, email us — we honour requests consistent with Canada's PIPEDA and applicable provincial law.
Age
iTablez is designed for patrons of licensed venues and the contest is restricted to those 19 years of age or older in Ontario. The app is not directed at children.
